E.M."AL" MAIDEN
1949-2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of E. M. "Al" Maiden, AICP. A long time associate of Rolf Campbell Associates, a Manhard Consulting company, he most recently served as director of community development.
For over 45 years, his dedication and expertise in comprehensive planning, highest and best use studies, development management and land use control had a huge impact on the growth of northern Illinois, in particular Lake County. His work influenced communities throughout Illinois.
His team will remember him as a great mentor and friend. His civic involvement with organizations such as the Historic Milburn Community Association, the Fremont Public Library District and the Northeastern Illinois Area Agency on Aging was a source of inspiration.
Al passed away Friday, June 25, 2021. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 7, 2021 at McMurrough Funeral Home in Libertyville, IL from 4-8pm.
Our thoughts are with his family. He will be missed and remembered fondly.
