Rolf Campbell Associates assisted the Village of Wauconda with the first update of its Comprehensive Plan since 1991. This plan update has laid the ground work for a number of significant village development efforts. 


In 2013, our team acted as the lead consultant in the formation of a Redevelopment Plan in the village’s Triangle area. As an area that has developed incrementally for the last 100 years primarily after the construction of U.S. Hwy 12 and its interchange with IL Route 176, the development pattern has occurred with a lack of planning and contrary to the Village of Wauconda’s first Comprehensive Plan in 1967 which sought to include a centrally located east-west dedicated roadway to provide frontage access for parcels in the interior of the Redevelopment Plan Area.
